i never thought this would happen during the current administration. i wonder if W will declare executive power to override the fda for "national security reasons." i mean, who knows what al qaeda could do with plan b?

"The US Food and Drug Administration today announced approval of Plan B, a contraceptive drug, as an over-the-counter (OTC) option for women aged 18 and older. Plan B is often referred to as emergency contraception or the morning after pill," an FDA statement said.
