incredibly short review of Steamboy

-some really cool design and visuals.

-too much Akira-esque screaming about the philosophy of science in highly simplified terms during improbable explosions.

-too much like Miyazaki not to compare them. The design completely measures up and maybe one-ups Miyazaki. The character development doesn't measure up, and the animation itself, especially the way things and people move in flight, doesn't come close.

Anyone else?
